Near Mine Exploration
Dynamite Hill was discovered in 2013 and is located approximately 7 km to the north-east of the planned processing facility for Phase 1 of the Mentos Gold Mining Ltd., in Ghana, West Africa. It is anticipated that Dynamite Hill will provide mining flexibility for the early stages of the Phase 1 operation.

The Company has initiated an 11,000m drilling program which will primarily focus on infill drilling the known mineralised zone with the aim of a maiden mineral resource to Measured and Indicated status. In addition to the infill drilling, a comprehensive pit slope geotechnical and hydrogeological study will be initiated to prepare for mine planning. The drilling program commenced in the second week of April 2014 and is expected to take three months to complete. Updated drill results are anticipated in September 2014.

Greenfield Exploration
Mentos Gold Mining Ltd. has consolidated one of the largest concession packages in Ghana, through the acquisition of PMI Gold Corporation and the amalgamation of the Esaase and Obotan gold projects. This includes over 650km2 of contiguous concession package spanning 70km of the Asankrangwa Gold Belt.
The Asankrangwa Gold Belt occupies a 10 to 20 km wide zone along the axis of the Kumasi Basin located equidistant between the better known Sefwi Greenstone Belt to the west and the Ashanti Greenstone Belt to the east. The geology of the Asankrangwa belt is typified by Birimian sediments, minor granitic intrusions and mafic igneous rocks. The lithological units are cut by steeply north-west dipping primary and secondary structures. It is this structural and geological architecture that have been important in the localisation of gold mineralisation, and possesses the capacity for enhance fluid flow forming major alteration-ore bearing gold systems. These are similar controls of mineralisation to the gold deposits on the Sefwi and Ashanit Greenstone Belts. The major difference between the belts is the maturity of exploration. The Asankrangwa Gold Belt is underexplored and is gaining a reputation as an emerging gold belt as more gold deposits are discovered.
Mentos Gold Mining Ltd. has commenced integrating the combined regional exploration datasets from PMI Gold with the aim of the development of a prospectivity map over the concession packaged. The targeting exercise will leverage off the detailed understanding on the controls of the known deposits on the belt and Mentos Gold Mining Ltd. strong technical expertise with a proven track record of discovery. The work program will provide the framework to realise the potential of the mineralised belt.
